Summer reduced-fat snacking with Lay’s

PepsiCo’s Lays Kettle Cooked crisps brand has two new, reduced-fat varieties in Applewood Smoked BBQ flavour and Sun-Dried Tomato and Parmesan.
The 40% less fat and ‘summer’ flavours should be a hit with consumers who feel “torn between sensible and delicious” snacking, the firm said.
Tony Matta, vice president of marketing at Frito-Lay, North America, said “consumers of Lay’s Kettle Cooked potato chips, many of whom are Baby Boomers, are increasingly looking for more unique flavour experiences, while at the same time maintaining balance in their diets.”
