Pepsico Frito-Lay in an American twist
PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay brand Tostitos has launched two new flavours of its Artisan Recipes Baked tortilla chips - Three Cheese Queso and Toasted Southwestern Spices - to appeal to the “ever-evolving American palette”.
Jody Denton, culinary expert at Frito-Lay’s Flavour Kitchen in North America, said that “consumers’ tastes are becoming more sophisticated and adventurous than ever before, so we crafted the new Tostitos Artisan Recipe flavours to answer that call by layering ingredients like multiple cheeses and spices.”
The two new products add to its Roasted Garlic & Black Bean and Fire-Roasted Chipotle flavours launched in 2010.
