Smartfood Spicy Jalapeño Ranch Popcorn (US)
Frito-Lay has extended the Smartfood ready-to-eat popcorn brand with new flavor Spicy Jalapeño Ranch Popcorn. The launch followed recent studies that showed ‘spicy’ ranked among consumers’ top three flavor preferences. The new flavor joins a line-up that includes White Cheddar Cheese, Movie Theater Butter and Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, and comes as sales of the brand have soared 25.2% year-on-year to $283m [IRI 52w/e December 27 2015].
