El’s Kitchen: Gluten-free bagel chips
Gluten-free specialist El’s Kitchen has launched a new low calorie snack line that aims to profit from soaring free-from demands, the company said.
Its Snaps Bagel Chips line has three varieties – Cinnamon & Sugar, Garlic & Herb and Simply Sea Salt – that will be available soon in stores nationwide.
The snacks are low in fat and calories (at 100 or less per serving). They are gluten-free and also free from eggs, milk, soy, peanuts and nuts.
“There are many gluten-free products that aren’t necessarily healthy. We’re proud to introduce a gluten-free treat that’s not only low in calories and fat but one which is free of the top eight allergens, without losing any of the qualities that the consumer is looking for in a great snack,” said CEO Eleanor Smith.
