Frito-Lay: Tapatio flavored Cheetos and Lay’s
Frito-Lay has launched two new tapatio flavored snacks under its Cheetos and Lay’s brands to tap into the growth potential of hot sauces, it said.
Its Lay’s Tapatio Limon flavored chips and Cheetos Tapatio snacks join an existing lineup of products that use the hot sauce including Ruffles and Doritos.
“We know that many of our consumers are already pairing their favorite hot sauce with their favorite Frito-Lay snacks. Whether consumers are relaxing at home with Lay’s potato chips or hanging out with the family having fun with Cheetos snacks, we’re excited to offer two hot new ways to enjoy great snacking,” said Ram Krishnan, vice president of marketing for Frito-Lay North America.
