BPI appoints non-executive director
British Polythene Industries has appointed Ian Russell an independent non-executive director of the company and chair of the Audit Committee with effect 1 July, 2011.
Russell, a former chief executive of Scottish Power, is a chartered accountant by profession. He has also worked for Mars Ltd.
He is currently chairman, adviser or non-executive director at a host of other organisations – including a bank, a power company as well as the University of Edinburgh’s campaigning board.
