The creators of Italcheck, an app to verify genuine Italian products for shoppers and aid manufacturers fight food fraud, will help fight against the €60 billion fake Italian products black market.
Cirio, the Italian food group which went bankrupt in 2002, has
reached an agreement to sell its industrial bakery unit to a
family-owned group, a further step on the road to recovery.
Major restaurant group Tragus Holdings yesterday said it would
re-brand its entire division of 64 Bella Pasta restaurants, after
posting maiden pre-tax profits of £5.7 million (€8.19 million.)
