McCoy’s crisps relaunch (UK)
KP Snacks has relaunched its £100m McCoy’s crisp brand to give the range a “bolder taste experience” and “even better texture”. On shelf from next month, the new recipe follows the recent re-design of the brand and is designed to reinforce its appeal to younger male consumers. “McCoy’s is a hugely popular brand with strong heritage in the UK and we’re excited to kick off the year with plans that will drive this further,” said KP Snacks marketing director Jeff Swan. “Consumer research has shown taste and strength of flavor highly influences purchase decisions , so we’re confident McCoy’s fans will love our stronger flavors and crunchier texture”.
