Special K cereal: Hot protein
Kellogg has launched two new cereal varieties under its Special K brand – a low fat granola with cranberries that Kellogg claims contains 60% less fat than other granolas and a honey nut crunch version of its hot nourish cereal.
Special K has been struggling in recent years with annual sales in the US slumping 9.7% in 2014. However, this is the year of the global Special K 're-brand' - set to shift the products away from a weight management focus towards 'weight wellness'.
