Sidel said it is turning to bottling line optimisation in light of the fact that beverage and liquid food manufacturers have not been investing significantly in new production capacity since the start of the global economic crisis.
Soft drinks group Hansa Heeman has extended a partnership with a

Tetra Laval's €1.7 billion bid for French beverage equipment
manufacturer Sidel is expected to be cleared by European
competition regulators after 18 months of wrangling.
Sidel, the French company specialising in machinery for liquid
packaging, has announced a new service which it will be previewing
at the forthcoming Emballage World Packaging Exhibition, held in
Villepinte, France this November.
Sidel, the French manufacturer of machinery for bottle producers,
is expected to return to profitability in 2002, after last year's
€47.5 million net loss.
