Sidel, the leading global manufacturer of plastic packaging systems for liquid food conditioning, has launched a new corporate logo to reaffirm it new identity after being bought out by Tetra Laval at the beginning on the year.

As a subsidiary of Tetra Laval, Sidel says it is better positioned than ever to ensure sustainable success of its manufacturing projects, strategy and development. The company added that now its network of sales and services teams, present on all continents, is structured to ensure proximity to each customer.

New teams have been added in China, Russia, Austria, Thailand, Australia and the Middle East to enhance the company's global reach. Like other companies within the Tetra Laval group, Sidel says it will now aggressively concentrate its research and development efforts to introduce and encourage innovation and creativity.

"This new logo is a symbol of partnership, global reach, and innovation,"​ said Gerard Stricher, Sidel's CEO and president. "It is a reflection of our commitment to our business partners, now and into the future."

An exciting new ad campaign will soon be launched to introduce Sidel's new look. In conjunction with the debut of its redesigned logo, The company's Web site, www.sidel.com​, has been restructured to better meet customer needs and increase the market reach for Sidel's expertise in PET.

Sidel is one of the world's foremost providers of solutions for packaging liquid foods in plastic packages. It currently has 4,300 employees in 25 countries with sales totalling €981.1 million in 2002.
