Carr's Caramelised Red Onion Melts
pladis is solidifying its presence on the cheese board by introducing a new Caramelised Red Onion flavor to its growing Carr’s Melts range.
The launch sees these iconic crisp wheaten biscuits – which have a light and mouth-watering texture – infused with the sweet and smoky flavor of caramelized red onion: perfect on their own or topped with a mature cheddar.
Carr’s Melts is already a top choice for savory snackers, with sales worth £9.3m. But pladis has spotted a golden opportunity for a Caramelised Red Onion variant, which is a particularly popular flavor amongst younger, affluent family shoppers.
