A tougher version of BASF's Styrolux Styrene-Butadiene Copolymer
(SBC) will help manufacturers of food service and packaging
products make more durable packging while reducing costs, the
Chemical giant BASF has resumed production of the metal-free
phthalocyanine pigment Heliogen Blue. The new material, used in
packaging, conforms to the existing specification and its quality
corresponds to that of the existing product.
Pactiv Corporation is to purchase 70 per cent of Mexico-based
Jaguar, a leading thermoformer of high impact polystyrene for cold
cups and plates and polystyrene foam for foodservice and food
