Syntax China to sell Michelman HP Indigo presses
Michelman has signed a distribution agreement with Syntax Technology, in Beijing, China, to sell its HP Indigo presses.

Syntax will assume responsibility for Michelman’s line of HP-recommended DigiPrime digital printing primers and DigiGuard overprint varnishes.

Rapid development of Chinese digital printing market

Steven Wong, vice president and managing director, Michelman, said it has seen a rapid development of the Chinese digital printing market.

As the sole distributor of HP Indigo presses in China, Syntax’s resources and customer support structure is unparalleled, and allows us to continue to provide our customers the quality they have come to expect from Michelman​.”

Develop primers & OPV technology

Founded in 1999, Syntax became the chief distributor for HP Indigo presses globally in 2002 and is one of the first companies to bring digital printing technology to China.

It has offices in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, and provides sales, service, technical support, supplies, and training.

Michelman DigiPrime is a line of HP-recommended/certified primers that improve ink receptivity, rub resistance and image quality on most types of paper, plastic, metallic and film substrates.

Michelman DigiGuard is a line of HP-recommended/certified overprint varnishes that enhance print quality and protect printed materials.

Jonathan Liu, president, Syntax, added by reaching out to its base of HP Indigo press owners in China, it can quickly understand its customer’s needs, and better serve and develop new and exciting primers and OPV technology.
