Faerch Plast names UK managing director
Faerch Plast has appointed Simon Downward as managing director for the UK.
Downward spent 16 years rising through the ranks at Smurfit Kappa. Prior to joining Faerch Plast, he was general manager at the company’s Weston Super Mare site.
Previous to this, he was regional sales director of Smurfit Kappa South West and part of Smurfit Kappa UK – a division of Smurfit Kappa Group and has worked at Linpac Devizes.
Faerch Plast is a producer of packaging trays for the ready meals industry.
