A new spray on wax is designed to be used on conveyors and slide
ways in food processing plants.

Interflon claims its Slide Wax replaces silicone sprays on conveyors to provide a cleaner and much longer lasting lubrication film than the competiting product. "The product has been engineered to outperform silicon sprays in cleanness, lubrication intervals and cost-of-use," the company stated. "It sets up a clean, non greasy lubrication film that offers much longer lasting lubrication and enables goods to be conveyed with less resistance and force." The spray on product is formulated with Teflon and other resins. It is packaged in 500 ml aerosol, and is NSF certified for use in food processing areas. "The product does not stain or drip. It clings to the surface of both horizontal and vertical ways, eliminates stick-slip and resists wash-off, dirt, dust and other abrasives to protect ways from scoring under heavy loads," the company claimed.
