Imagine – a range of kiddies snacks that provide ‘a good source of protein and calcium’ – has embarked on a three-year partnership with No Kid Hungry, a national campaign to fight childhood hunger in America.

Together, the duo aims to provide three million meals to kids in need.

Imagine Cheese Stars are poppable real cheese crackers offering 6g of protein per serving. The line is available in two flavors – Parmesan and White Cheddar.

Imagine Yogurt Crisps combine ‘the tastiness of real fruit with real yogurt’, containing 4g of protein and 8g of whole grains per serving. Also available in two variants: Mixed Berry and Apple Cinnamon.

Both ranges contain no artificial colors or flavors and are Non-GMO Project verified. They are also packed in resealable bags for ease of use by on-the-go families.

“As a snack brand that was created to celebrate the possibilities of a child’s imagination, Imagine’s mission is to give kids the fuel they need to dream big,” said Sarah Guzman, senior marketing director of Imagine.

“By partnering with No Kid Hungry, we’re extending that commitment by helping children in America get the food they need to grow up healthy and strong.”

According to US Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service, one is six American kids – that is 12.5 million children – lives in a household without consistent access to enough food.

Serious problem

“Child hunger in America is a serious problem that causes too many kids to struggle to learn and reach their full potential,” said Jill Davis, senior VP, Corporate Partnerships at Share Our Strength, the organization behind the No Kid Hungry campaign.

“We are grateful that Imagine is supporting our efforts to ensure millions of meals are served to children who so desperately need them.

“Together, we are demonstrating the importance of making sure kids’ stomachs are full – so that their minds can roam free, rather than be focused on hunger.”

Imagine is also providing $50,000 in grants to meal sites across the country to help enable creative play for kids.
