A future-looking conference calls upon leaders from every aspect of the food supply chain to tackle issues with long-term impact on the industry.

The Food2053 conference, scheduled October 21-23 in San Francisco, seeks bring together growers, processors, packaging companies, retailers and other stakeholders to hammer out common concerns. Topics on the table include supplying adequate food to a booming global population, dealing with dwindling resources, and keeping profits healthy.

 “Our goal is to begin shaping the future of food by focusing on the consumer first,” said Doug Austin, senior vice president of growth and innovation at event organizer Marlin Network​. “We need real actionable solutions to feed the growing population of tomorrow in a way that everyone can feel good about.”
