ULMA Packaging's new FR 305 machine
ULMA Packaging has unveiled a horizontal flow pack wrapper (HFFS) for the bakery, confectionery and produce industry.
The FR 305 machine makes a three sealing pillow pack and can also package loose products with no tray.
For the packaging of fruits and vegetables, it has the advantage of being an "intermittent" model – adapting to products with variable size, without wasting wrapping film, said ULMA.
The firm said it substitutes the previous family of bottom film rotary jaw packaging machines, adding to the experience, strength and reliability of previous models.
The model features high flexibility for the different format changeovers courtesy of an industrial PC electronic platform.
