Increased expenditure on brand-building and promotions helped
US-based cereals and snack foods group Kellogg to a 10 per cent
increase in sales for 2002, a good result after a turbulent year in
2001.
A dispute which pitted US food giant Kellogg against the somewhat
smaller Green Turtle Bay Vitamin Company over the latter's
trademark vitamin, Sunnie, has ended with a victory for the smaller
company.
US cereal company Kellogg Co. agreed this week to sell its
Bake-Line Products business to Atlantic Baking Group, the privately
held baking group said on Wednesday.
