UK confectionery and snack maker Zetar has announced a licensing agreement with Unilever to make Marmite branded nuts.

The deal to take effect in October this year will see Zetar’s natural snacks division Humdinger manufacturer and sell Marmite branded nut products.

Zetar CEO Ian Blackburn said: “This is directly in line with our strategy to focus on growing our range of higher margin branded products.”

“We know that Marmite is a very strong, popular brand and we are confident of its success.”

Zetar currently owns the rights to other branded products such as Hello Kitty confectionery and Guinness-branded nuts.
