Abbot Laboratories has paved the way for rapid company expansion in the weight control and healthy living categories following an agreement to acquire nutrition bar company ZonePerfect Nutrition.

A novel pasta vending machine is to be launched at Eu'Vend 2003, the exhibition that showcases innovations and developments within the dispensing industry. The new product, which is called Vera, has been designed to dispense the Very Italiano pasta line.
