United Biscuits ready to close Fontaneda

United Biscuits' management in the UK has finally run out of patience with staff and unions at its Fontaneda plant in Spain. If all the parties cannot agree on terms for the relocation of staff to other UB sites by 15 October, the site will be closed.

Protein Solutions adds to DynaPro range

Protein Solutions has launched the DynaPro Plate Reader, which it claims is the first dynamic light scattering plate reader to assist in high throughput biomolecular characterisation efforts.
