Strategies for helping consumers reduce food waste.

Overview

OTn 00014304

Looking ahead to 2025, every manufacturer wonders how they can up their product game to better meet consumer needs. One way is by helping them reduce their overall food waste.

Environmental concerns are one driver behind the demand for less waste. The biggest factor however is economic.

82% of Americans say food waste is costing them money¹. Hardly surprising at a time when food prices are at an all-time high, up a full 28% since 2019².

Add it all up — from the cost savings to sustainability advantages and consumer loyalty gains — and there truly is no downside to taking the lead on food waste reduction.
