Pumpkin spice 2026 at a glance:
- Fox’s, IQBAR, Paris Baguette and others are translating the familiar Pumpkin Spice Latte flavour into biscuits, bars, pastries and breakfast products.
- Protein-rich cottage cheese, skyr and snack bars show pumpkin spice moving beyond its traditional indulgent positioning.
- Limited availability remains central to the flavour’s appeal, creating urgency while giving established products a seasonal sales boost.
Pumpkin spice season is back, although indulging in its most celebrated expression is becoming considerably more expensive.
Analysis shared by Crunchie Munchies suggests the reported UK price of a Tall Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte has risen from £3.65 in 2022 to £5.25 in 2026. That’s an increase of £1.60, or almost 44%, in four years.
Consumers, however, no longer need to visit a coffee shop for their autumn fix: pumpkin spice is appearing in everything from chocolate-coated biscuits and protein bars to tortilla chips, cottage cheese and bite-sized pancakes.
“Pumpkin spice has become much more than just a flavour, it’s become a bit of a sign that autumn is here,” said Dervis Bayram, a freeze-dried sweets expert at Crunchie Munchies. “The mix of warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg has that really cosy, autumnal feel, which is probably why people get so excited for it to come back every year.”
That appeal now extends far beyond coffee, helped by the flavour’s ability to signal comfort, nostalgia and the arrival of autumn.
“What’s interesting is how much the flavour has taken off outside of coffee,” added Bayram. “You now see pumpkin spice in everything from sweets and desserts to candles and cereals, so it’s become a whole seasonal trend rather than just a drink.”
Fox’s turns the PSL into a biscuit

Fox’s Burton’s Companies is translating coffee shop culture into a British biscuit with Fox’s Chocolatey Pumpkin Spice Indulgent Creams.
Launching on 31 August across Tesco Group, Asda, B&M, Heron and Ocado across the UK, the limited edition combines a chocolate-coated shortcake biscuit with a pumpkin spice cream centre flavoured with cinnamon and ginger. It will remain available until December at an MSRP of £3 for a 122g pack, with a promotional price of £2.50.
The launch is the third release in Fox’s Chocolatey’s trending flavour series, following Dubai Style and Matcha Indulgent Creams.
“Pumpkin Spice is one of the most recognisable Autumn flavours, yet it has never been available in branded sweet biscuits,” said Jo Harwood, chief sales and trade marketing officer at FBC.
“With our track record of bringing trending flavours into the biscuit aisle, we’re confident Pumpkin Spice Creams will drive incremental spend by bringing new shoppers into the brand and adding category value by giving retailers a compelling seasonal proposition.”
Pumpkin spice gets a protein boost

Functional brands are challenging the idea that pumpkin spice belongs exclusively in indulgent drinks and desserts.
IQBAR has revived two limited edition products. Pumpkin Spice IQBAR combines pumpkin and cinnamon in a functional snack bar and costs $24.99 for 12. Pumpkin Spice IQJOE pairs medium-roasted Brazilian instant coffee with pumpkin, cinnamon and brain-focused nutrients. A 16-count pack costs $19.99.
Good Culture’s Organic Pumpkin & Spice Cottage Cheese returns exclusively to Whole Foods Market nationwide on 2 September. Made with real pumpkin, autumn spices and milk from pasture-raised cows, each 5oz cup provides 15g of protein and live and active cultures. It is priced at $2.29.
Siggi’s limited edition Pumpkin & Spice Skyr also contains 15g of protein per cup. Made with 1.5% reduced-fat milk and no artificial flavours or sweeteners, it is available from major US grocery retailers for $1.99.
Clio Pumpkin Spice Greek Yogurt Bars combine creamy pumpkin and warming spices with a chocolatey shell. Packs are available from Whole Foods Market for $5.99.
Perfect Bar, meanwhile, is bringing back its refrigerated Pumpkin Pie Protein Bar. The seasonal flavour arrives at Trader Joe’s at the end of August before rolling out at Target from 20 September.
Pumpkin spice takes over breakfast

Belgian Boys is launching its first autumn flavour with Pumpkin Spiced Bite-Sized Pancakes.
Each $6.99 box contains 32 refrigerated pancakes made with pumpkin purée and cinnamon. Ready after one minute in the microwave, they will be available through October at Target, Aldi, H-E-B, ShopRite, Hy-Vee, Wegmans and Imperfect Foods across the US.
Seven Sundays is also rethinking pancakes with Oatcakes, a just-add-water hybrid of oatmeal and pancake mix. Made with 11 plant-based ingredients, the Oatcakes contain 9g-10g of upcycled plant protein and provide 20% of the recommended daily fibre intake. The range includes Original, Double Chocolate and limited edition Pumpkin Spice varieties, priced at $7.49 from Target and SevenSundays.com.
MadeGood Pumpkin Spice Granola Bites launch at Target on 26 August, followed by Hy-Vee, Sprouts, Giant and Wegmans. They combine organic gluten-free oats and pumpkin powder with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and vanilla chips. Like the wider MadeGood portfolio, they are positioned as allergy-friendly and certified organic.
Cookies, spreads and snacks get spiced

Tate’s Bake Shop is returning its thin and crispy Pumpkin Spice Cookies, made with real pumpkin, warming spices and white chocolate chips.
The company says the cookies became the number one selling autumn seasonal item in the US premium cookie category in 2025. They are rolling out at Walmart, Target, Whole Foods Market, Kroger, Publix, Albertsons and Stop & Shop, as well as Tate’s website and Amazon.
Nestlé Toll House is bringing back Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough, which combines pumpkin spice dough with white candy morsels. It is available in a 14oz pack for an MSRP of $4.99.
Toll House Pumpkin Spice Flavoured Morsels will follow in September. Combining cinnamon and clove, the baking pieces have an MSRP of $5.79.
LesserEvil Pumpkin Spice offers the flavour in a crunchy snack format with a touch of sweetness. It’s available from Whole Foods Market, Sprouts and Target for $4.59.
GOOD GOOD Pumpkin Butter provides a spreadable option made with real pumpkin and warming spices. It is available from Sprouts for $12.99.
Target pushes pumpkin beyond coffee

Target’s private-label collection shows how widely pumpkin spice can now stretch across supermarket categories.
Its drinks range includes Good & Gather Brown Butter Pumpkin Flavoured Heavy Whipping Cream, Organic Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer, Naturally Flavoured Pumpkin Spice Light Roast Ground Coffee, Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Coffee Syrup. Favorite Day adds Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer and Pumpkin Spice Whipped Dairy Topping.
The flavour makes a more unexpected move into savoury snacking through Good & Gather Pumpkin Spice Tortilla Chips.
Five Cheese Pumpkin and Maple Leaf Ravioli introduces pumpkin into an autumn meal occasion, while Pumpkin and Ghost-Shaped Pizzas give it a more playful format.
Favorite Day extends the flavour into refrigerated and frozen treats with Pumpkin Spice Cookie Dough, Pumpkin Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches and Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream.
Paris Baguette gives pumpkin spice a pastry makeover

Paris Baguette is moving pumpkin spice across bakery and beverages with three limited-time products launching nationwide on 26 August.
The Pumpkin Streusel Tart combines a rich pumpkin spice filling with a buttery tart shell, streusel topping and icing drizzle. Rather than simply applying the flavour to an existing pastry, the product draws on the texture and presentation of traditional pumpkin pie while adapting it for an individual bakery occasion.
Pumpkin Spice Cruffin takes the flavour into a more contemporary hybrid format. The flaky croissant-muffin is loaded with pumpkin spice filling and finished with pumpkin icing and pumpkin seeds, combining laminated pastry with the rich fillings and visual decoration associated with seasonal indulgence.
The Pumpkin Streusel Latte brings the collection back to the category that made pumpkin spice famous. Available hot or iced, it combines espresso and milk with pumpkin spice before adding a cinnamon streusel topping.
The three products allow Paris Baguette to carry the same seasonal profile across multiple occasions – from a morning coffee and pastry to an afternoon treat or individual dessert. The menu also demonstrates how bakery operators can create a broader seasonal collection without making every item identical: the tart emphasizes richness, the cruffin leans into texture and portability, and the latte delivers the familiar PSL-style experience.
