Whether he’s into protein power, nostalgic flavours, plant-based bites or just a free dessert, brands are stepping up with a fresh batch of NPD designed to delight dads of all stripes.
Many of these launches tap directly into the biggest trends shaping the snack space among men. High-protein options continue to dominate, with the global protein snacks market forecast to nearly double to $8.62 billion by 2032, according to Persistence Market Research.
Low-sugar is also in high demand and brands are responding: snacks labelled low or no sugar accounted for 39% of the healthy snacks market in 2023.
Meanwhile, vegan and plant-based innovations are rising fast, appealing to dads who want snacks that align with health, sustainability and convenience without skimping on taste.

From better-for-you meat sticks and dairy-free cheese balls to seriously fudgy vegan brownies and high protein sourdough rolls, this year’s Father’s Day lineup proves there’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to treating Dad.

Brookies for the bloke
For the dad who deserves serious indulgence (and maybe a little drama), Cake or Death delivers two limited edition brownie options. The Brookie Box (£23) features a dynamic duo: Peanut Brookie, with fudgy brownie layered over peanut cookie dough and toasted peanuts, and Biscoff Brookie, rippled with Biscoff spread and topped with biscuit pieces. Alternatively, the Best Dad Brownie Slab (£25) spells it out with fondant letters and a flurry of colourful sprinkles.
All options are 100% vegan and available for nationwide UK delivery until 14 June.
Packaged in Cake or Death’s signature pink leopard print, they’re as bold and irreverent as the Eddie Izzard sketch the bakery’s named after. Add a personalised note, because what says “I love you, Dad” better than sarcasm wrapped in chocolate?

One sweet deal
Heavenly Desserts is serving up something sweet on Sunday, 15 June. Dads get a free dessert or brunch main with the purchase of another meal at any of the brand’s 60+ locations across the UK.
The dine-in-only deal is all about celebrating the father figures who make life a little sweeter. “We want to create a real impact this Father’s Day by inviting everyone to celebrate the father figures who mean the most to them,” said marketing executive Yasmin Flavill.
“Whether he’s a dad, stepdad, grandad or someone who has played a guiding role, they eat for free. It’s a small gesture to recognise the big impact they have in our lives.”
So go on: treat your dessert-loving hero to something truly Heavenly.

Stick this in your gym bag
New Primal captures the savoury comfort of roast dinner nostalgia in its new Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Sticks. Each 1oz stick packs in 10g of protein and just 60 calories – plus it’s sugar-free, gluten-free, Whole30- and Keto-approved.
“Our customers have been asking for more meat snack options made with chicken,” said founder and CEO Jason Burke. “The Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Sticks were developed to satisfy that demand – with the nostalgic taste everyone loves.”
Think Sunday roast vibes, now pocket-sized and gym-bag ready.

Say (cheese)ball to your dad
Hippeas is popping off with a playful new twist on the classic cheese ball – only this time, it’s vegan, allergen-friendly, and made from chickpeas and yellow peas.
Its Cheezy Cheddar Pops offer that familiar melt-in-your-mouth crunch, but with 3g of protein, 2g of fibre and none of the junk. Available in family bags at Target and online in convenient snack packs, they’re perfect for dads who snack clean or just want a reason to steal from their kids’ lunch stash.
“These snacks deliver all the bold, cheezy goodness you crave,” said Nick Marmet, senior director of brand management and innovation at HIPPEAS. “Without any of the junk.” Consider this your cheesy (but healthy) throwback.

Shaking up dad’s routine
Oikos – the high-protein yoghurt king – has officially broken free of the fridge with its new shelf-stable Protein Shakes.
Each 12oz bottle delivers 30g of protein, 5g of prebiotic fibre and no added sugar or artificial sweeteners. Available in Chocolate, Vanilla and Salted Caramel, they’re the ideal grab-and-go upgrade for dads with no time to blend but every intention to fuel up.
Retailing at $3.69 per bottle or $11.99 per 4-pack, they’re now landing at Amazon, Kroger, CVS and other major retailers across the US. So whether it’s post-workout, mid-commute or pre-school-run chaos, these shakes are here to help Dad flex his snack game.

The daily bread, upgraded
Jason’s Sourdough is raising the bar – and the protein count – with its new Everyday Seeded Protein Rolls. Each roll packs in 14g of protein, using Jason’s signature sour culture and zero artificial ingredients.
Now available in 300 Tesco stores across the UK, the rolls are an easy win for dads who want their carbs with a little extra muscle. The brand has also introduced Jason’s Sourdough Creations, a bold new range that blends its signature slow-fermented sourdough with flavours like jam-packed Fruit Loaf and the returning fan favourite, Olive & Basil. The launch comes on the heels of a major milestone for family-run Geary’s Bakery: the opening of a new £36 million Leicester facility that will double production capacity and create 380 new jobs.
“These two new ranges show the versatility of our sourdough,” said master baker Jason Geary. “It’s about combining innovation with tradition, whilst maintaining exceptional quality.”

A peachy keen pocket snack

“There’s something magical about the taste of a perfectly ripe peach that instantly transports you to carefree summer days,” said founder Beryl Stafford.
CEO TJ McIntyre added, “Summer flavours have always resonated strongly with our customers … we’re excited to give our fans another delicious way to fuel their adventures.”
Individually wrapped and mess-free, they’re ready to tag along on whatever Dad’s got planned next.

Made for pro dads
Wenzel’s Farm is fuelling the grind – or the weekend warrior – with its new PRO Snack Sticks, each delivering 16g of protein in bold flavours like Jalapeño Cheddar, Teriyaki, Pepperoni and Original.
Made from premium cuts of meat and naturally hardwood smoked in small batches, these 1,9oz sticks are meatier than your average snack.
“We wanted to develop a high quality, high protein, low sugar stick to appeal to people that push themselves hard or just want more protein in their diets,” said president Mark Vieth. “The flavour and texture of this new line is incredible.”
Available online and at convenience stores nationwide for $2.69 a pop – perfect for stashing in Dad’s glove box or gym bag.

Sweet gains, less sugar
Trek is rewriting the rules of the protein bar game with a line of low-sugar bars in Choc Caramel, Choc Peanut Butter and a Biscoff flavour that’s already a fan favourite.
Each bar delivers 12g+ of protein and is naturally sweetened with chicory fibre and stevia.
“This isn’t just an NPD story. It’s a turning point for the protein bar category,” said marketing manager Alice Boardman. “After years of research, product development and trials, we’ve proven you don’t need chemical shortcuts to deliver what shoppers want.”
Available in Sainsbury’s across the UK for £1.92 per 44g single and £4.95 per 3-pack, with bigger bars (£2.88) hitting wholesale shelves, too.
Power up, clean up, snack on.
