Held biannually for the past 50+ years, Snackex is considered the ultimate event on the savoury snacks and nuts sector’s annual calendar to showcase new ideas and success stories, to catch up with other industry professionals and to learn from the experts.

Organised by the European Snacks Association (ESA), Snackex is the only trade show in Europe that is 100% dedicated to the savoury snacks and nuts sector and next year takes place at Stockholmsmässan in Stockholm, Sweden, on 19-20 June.

The B2B show gathers all stakeholders within the industry - from producers to suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, flavours, processing equipment and packaging machinery to consulting services and retailers - to showcase their latest and greatest innovations over an exhibition floor that will cover 10,000m2.

The 2024 event is expected to house more than 200 exhibitors while attracting over 3,500 visitors from 100 countries across the world.

Two full days of networking will be preceded by the show’s highly anticipated welcome reception, which will provide the 500+ guest list with the perfect opportunity to network within a conducive environment offset by live entertainment and delicious food.

Snackex 2024 is also featuring free-to-attend workshops right on the show floor, where industry professionals will share their insights and expertise on the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the savoury snacks market.

The organisers guarantee an experience that will inspire, inform and connect those within the savoury snacks community. Attendees will learn about consumer preferences, product innovation, sustainability, regulation, nutrition and so much more - all designed to sharpen skills and knowledge regarding snack production, while also getting a deeper comprehension into their customer and his/her choices.

The who’s who of the snacks industry

“Anyone who is someone in the savoury snacks and nuts industry will be there at the event,” said Veronica Yakicioglu, ESA’s head of Events and Membership.

“It is the very niche aspect of this trade show that has kept its audience faithful over the course of so many years and thanks to which more than 90% of the exhibitors and visitors are returning ones,” added Yakiciouglu.

“It’s an investment that pays off in terms of increased sales, brand awareness, customer loyalty and competitive advantage.

“At Snackex, you will find very specific customers that cannot be found anywhere else at general food shows.”

Pre-registration for Europe’s most comprehensive international trade fair dedicated exclusively to the savoury snack sector will be launched early in 2024, so keep an eye on the Snackex website.

Bakery&Snacks will also be there, so see you all in Stockholm.
