Bake International gearing up for debut with first-ever Theatre sponsor

Bacofoil – the trusted non-stick baking paper brand trusted by millions of at home bakers and professionals – is the first-ever sponsor of the Bake International Theatre.

Bake International is a new show focused on all things baking – from bread to pastries – to complement the hugely successful Cake International, which has clocked up 25 years as the world’s longest-standing sugarcraft, cake decorating and baking show, attracting over 17,000 enthusiasts annually.

Organised by ICHF Event and set to open doors in Birmingham, UK, from 4-6 November, the duo will set the stage for a vast assortment of supplies, ingredients and equipment, and host a number of indepth workshops by expert bakers.

Cake International is also hosting its prestigious cake decorating competition,​ with more than 1,000 entries received from around the globe. Previous years have seen entries from as far as Indonesia, India, China, Argentina, South Korea and the US.

The team of highly trained judges are currently in deliberation to choose the best in class in a wide range of categories, from beginners, to tiered cakes, delicate sugar flower creations and 3D cookies, among others.

The Best in Show winner will walk away with a trophy and £2,500, the largest cash prize in Europe for this type of competition.

Helping to create great bakes

Cake Week

Bacofoil will showcase its Non-Stick Baking Paper with New Non-Slip Base by the artists in the demonstration. The innovative design on the base stops the paper from curling and slipping around, while the non-stick embossed structure on the top continues to prevent bakes from sticking.

“There’s nothing quite like watching live baking in a theatre by the professionals, and we’re so pleased to be part of that at the very first Bake International,”​ said Zoe Lunn, head of Brand Management at Babofoil.

“We know how passionate the visitors are about creating great bakes and we’ll be showcasing our unique Baking Paper and doing some giveaways as well.”
