New probiotic website connects with consumers searching for digestive health benefits

While probiotics are increasingly in demand by consumers to support their health and wellness journey, they are also increasingly seeking information and clinical support that the products they are consuming are safe and efficacious.

Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes is aiming to deliver that confidence with the launch of a consumer-friendly website.

“Consumers want to know the story behind the product - the ingredients, how they work and the science behind them,” said Kristin Wilhoyte, director of Marketing Communications at Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes.

Bacillus subtilis DE111, for example, is known to deliver immune and digestive health benefits. The site includes links to human clinical trials, as well as how probiotics work in the body. As a hardy probiotic by nature, it lends itself to a wide range of manufacturing conditions and formats, and can be found in bars, snack mixes, fruit snacks, chips, popcorn, puffs, gummies and powdered drink mixes.
