The Seedrs crowdfunding campaign went live on 6 July and smashed through the £100,000 barrier in a matter of hours.
Founded by nutritionist and ex-city trader Robert Thorp, the UK producer is shaking up the $750bn functional nutrition sector with a research-based range of plant-based snacks and products that offer clean, focused energy to boost health, wellbeing and vitality.
The company has celebrated several milestones recently, including a 3.65 x year-on-year growth, building a network of over 10,000 direct customers and winning a listing with Holland & Barret, both in store and online.
According to Thorp, Vite Naturals is also in conversation with some of the UK’s largest retailers to further its mass-market distribution mission.
“We’re here to help the world to live with vitality, and we’re doing that by bringing the benefits of functional ingredients to the mass market,” the company said.
Vite Naturals’ portfolio targets three health & wellness areas:
Vite Brain is focused on stimulating mental performance with the use of nootropics and omega. Available as a snack bar, drink mix and capsules, the range combines nine key nutrients and fatty acids that are essential for brain health.
Vite Body is a gut health line utilising prebiotics, probiotic live cultures and digestive enzymes; available in a snack bar and capsules.
Vite Protein + is targeted towards the physical performance sector with its blend of plant-based protein, turmeric, cinnamon and black pepper extract to aid inflammation and promote muscle recovery.
With funds raised from the Seedr campaign, Vite Naturals is hoping to drive brand awareness and distribution, to make functional nutrition more readily available for all consumers.
