Lay’s celebrates Valentine’s with chocolate covered potato chips
While chocolate is the archetypal Valentine’s Day declaration, Frito-Lay think fans of salty potato chips should be able to join in the spirit.
Especially for Valentine’s Day, the PepsiCo-owned brand is releasing a limited edition of Lay’s Wavy Milk Chocolate Covered Potato Chips, coined as “a delicious harmony of rich milk chocolate with the perfect punctuation of sea salt and the light crunchy taste of a Lay’s Wavy Potato Chip.”
This is not the first time the brand has forayed into smothering its chips in chocolate, following a limited run in 2013 in Target stores in the US.
This time, however, they’re not available in stores. To get their hands on a bag of the sweet ‘n salty snacks, fans have to enter a giveaway. Simply comment on a Lay’s post on any social media channel before February 12.
