Duravant to acquire WECO fruits and nuts food processing and inspection

Duravant has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Woodside Electronics Corporation (WECO), a manufacturer of optical colour and defect sorting equipment for fruits and nuts.

Along with Key Technology, a member of the Duravant family, WECO extends Duravant’s reach across automated food processing and inspection categories with complementary products, technologies and applications.

WECO, based in California, has 30 years' experience in optical sorting technology for fruits and nuts, including tomatoes, walnuts, blueberries, pecans and wine grapes.
