MetsäBoard upgrades its folding boxboard portfolio
The improvements include its Natural FBB, an uncoated, rigid OBA-free grade for a natural surface; Classic FBB ; Pro FBB OBAfree with improved OBA-free grade; Pro FBB Bright, a multipurpose board with high brightness on top and reverse and Prime FBB Bright, combining brightness with a bluish white shade and high stiffness for high end packaging.
Better brand experiences
Ari Kiviranta, SVP development, Metsä Board, said the packaging of the future is all about creating better brand experiences with less environmental impact.
He said, by enhancing its folding boxboard portfolio, it can help brand owners and packaging converters tackle the big issues in packaging: saving resources, reducing carbon footprint and ensuring product safety.
“It is important that we continuously develop new technology to make packaging even more safe and sustainable,” said Kiviranta.
“For example, improvements to our High Yield Pulp provide further opportunities for brand owners to lightweight their packaging.”
The improved Metsä Board range offers stronger performance in highly demanding end-uses, such as food, beautycare, healthcare or luxury packaging and graphics applications.
