Moving into convenience is a huge step in bringing the Fruit Bowl range in line with wider consumer demand," said said Alice Bream, brand manager, Pioneer Foods.

"We’re excited about what the future holds for us, with more convenience launches expected for Spring/Summer 2019,”

Fruit Bowl’s initial convenience range includes single portion versions of its multipack bestsellers.

All snacks are 100% fruit, gluten-free, with no added sugar and are vegetarian/vegan friendly.

Jonathan Thorn, MD, Pioneer Foods UK, which owns Fruit Bowl, added the launch ‘is a leap into a new market for Fruit Bowl’, and will be available in Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, The Co-Op, Asda, Waitrose and Ocado.
