Wheat-flour-bread ingredients supplier Eurogerm has opened its twelfth international subsidiary to accelerate the group’s growth in the Middle East.

Although the company has been present in this region for several years, it is hoping Eurogerm Middle-East – based in Kfarhbab, Lebanon – will increase its visibility in these high-potential markets.

The new company will promote the group's growth in this sector, in particular with the creation of a baking centre.

“The creation of Eurogerm Middle-East is a new step and follows our recent openings in Italy, Germany and Colombia,” said Jean-Philippe Girard, Eurogerm’s chairman and CEO.

“Carried out in association with our local partner, it is based on the export development model and is fully in line with our ambition to expand internationally.”

Ramy Kfoury, previously sales manager of the company’s Middle East region, has been placed at the helm of Eurogerm Middle-East.

Founded in 1989 by Girard, Eurogerm develops milling correctors, bread-making improvers and ingredients to improve regularity and quality of wheat–flour–bread products.

The French company is listed on Euronext Growth Paris, a Euronext Group market.
