The crust is available across four pizzas: Slow-Roasted Tomato Margherita, Mediterranean Supreme, Primavera, and Aged Asiago, Romano & Mozzarella to complement its existing gluten-free pizzas and pasta sauces.
First-to-market
“We’re excited to release our broccoli crust pizzas with the re-launch of our overall retail brand,” said Anthony Spinato, president, Spinato’s, based in Phoenix, US.
He said the idea behind the first-to-market plant-based broccoli crust was for its retail partners to remain competitive offering a ‘unique taste experience’.
“The new branding is our way of expressing our commitment to provide high quality frozen pizzas that encourage consumers to cook and connect over a shared meal,” he added.
In addition, its gluten-free and broccoli crust pizzas have been upgraded to a larger 10” inch size.
Spinato’s supplies to 750 retail stores across the US with plans to expand to 1,000 stores this year.
