Kettle says it has launched two flavors; Buttermilk Chicken & Sriracha Mayo and Patatas Bravas with Paprika & Aioli, with attractive ‘sunny packaging’, to reflect consumers’ ‘adventurous spirit for summer’.

Kettle Foods, based in Norwich, UK, initially launched its Kettle Discoveries seasonings in Tesco for £1.99 per 130g sharing bag, with other retailers to follow.

Phil Hovey, chef, Kettle Chips, said he spent two days in Spain trying versions from different bars, restaurants and regions to come up with the Patatas Bravas flavor, which ‘brings everyone’s favourite tapas to life with the richness of sweet tomatoes, paprika, and creamy garlic’.

He added, with gourmet fried chicken restaurants popping up all over the place, Buttermilk Chicken is a dish that the nation has taken to their hearts and the Buttermilk Chicken & Sriracha Mayo flavor is ‘a crunchy, spicy, taste of the Deep South’.

This latest launch follows a number of NPD (New Product Developments) the team at Kettle Chips has been working on, and follows a TV and online advertising campaign in April and May this year.
