Finally, Norway’s popular Go’morgen muesli and yogurt range is available in a bar that can be eaten anywhere, anytime.

Ever tried to eat a yogurt on a merry-go-round? It’s a messy business. That’s why the new product developers at Go’morgen packaged their nutritious muesli in a Go’morgen Müsli and Nutbar.

Each 45g bar is rich in fiber (15g) and energy (193kcal), and contains 30% less sugar than other muesli bars on the market.

Available in three flavors, including Chocolate, Almond & Peanut, Cranberry & Yogurt, and Pecan & Salt Caramel.

Red Rock Deli

A popular from snack down under – Red Rock Deli – is being debuted stateside by PepsiCo’s Friday Lay North America.

Red Rock Deli potato chips are made with rough-cut potatoes cooked in 100% sunflower oil and seasoned with three unique flavor blends: Red Curry & Coconut, Himalayan Pink Salt and Lime & Cracked Pepper.

The chips are Non-GMO Project verified and contain no artificial colors or flavors.

Available across the US in select markets and online.

Cookies ‘n cheese

Dairylea

Mondelez has launched Dairylea Snackers, which combines Dairylea cheese with two of Mondelez’s favorites: Mini Oreos and Mini Chocolate Cookies.

Available in cases of 10 with an RRP of £1.65 ($2.21).

The range will be backed by a £1.3m ($1.74m) marketing campaign, which will include digital and in-store activity.

Fuel10K has introduced the UK’s first high protein, high fibre and low sugar soft bake breakfast cookie. 

Designed to make breakfast on the run as easy and rewarding as possible, the biscuit is being sold through convenience and food service outlets for a RRP of £1.49 ($1.99).

Suitable for vegetarians, high in protein and fiber and, more importantly, low in sugar, the 50g Oat Cookies come in two flavours, Double Chocolate and Strawberry & White Chocolate.

Fuel10K has been innovating UK breakfasts since 2013 and is now a £10m brand, available in Tesco, Sainbury’s, Waitrose, Spar, ASDA, Amazon, Morrisons, Co-Op and Ocado.

Meaty punch

GreenSpace Brands has launched Meatbar, its new brand under the premium meat-based snack category.

Meatbar features grass fed meats with assorted spices, nuts and seeds, feeding into the macro trends of high protein, simple ingredients and convenience snacking.

It is also the first meat snack in the Canadian market to launch in a bar format.

Current flavours include Sriracha (grass fed beef, antibiotic free pork and nitrate free bacon); Sweet and Savory (grass fed beef, cranberries and pumpkin seeds); and Original (grass fed beef and assorted spices).

According to the company, meat-based snacking is a substantial vertical (worth $1.4bn last year) and is expected to be a strong trend for years to come. As such, it is continuing to investigate further innovation to round out the offerings with other meat based snacking options in the near future.

Healthier indulgence

The UK’s number one popcorn brand has introduced a chocolate flavor to its lineup to provide shoppers with a healthier moment of chocolate indulgence.

Propercorn’s blend of Fairtrade, Peruvian cocoa, whole milk, demerara and sea salt contains just 126 calories per serving and less than half the sugar of a traditional chocolate bar.

Propercorn’s chocolate popcorn is available in Waitrose and Ocado, and Tesco from July in single and sharing bags for a RRP of £0.80 ($1.07) and £1.59 ($2.13) respectively.

Going bananas over brekkie

Raisin bran

Kellogg Company has launched Raisin Bran with Bananas, which includes slices of the number one breakfast fruit choice among consumers.

The new variety also includes the traditional crispy bran flakes, sun-ripened raisins and whole grains and fiber for which the cereal is known.

It contains only 200 calories per serving, and sells for a suggested $3.99 per box.

Unilever has introduced Marmite Breakfast Biscuits targeted at the “increasing number of consumers seeking on-the-go breakfast options.”

The variant has been created in partnership with artisan bakery, Thomas Fudge’s, and features a savory biscuit with the distinct taste of Marmite, with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

The biscuits are suitable for vegetarians.

Marmite Breakfast Biscuits are be available in 252g packs, retailing at £2.79 ($3.74).
