PepsiCo Canada has recalled 750 bags of Ruffles regular flavored potato chips in Ontario due to undisclosed milk.

The incident occurred after the products were “inadvertently filled with Ruffles Sour Creme ‘N Onion flavored potato chips,” which are seasoned with a milk-based ingredient, said the company.

The impacted products are all 220g bags bearing a universal product code of 6041090135, a guaranteed fresh date of July 17 and a manufacturing code of 60811324938 on their packaging, according to PepsiCo.

The company is currently working with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency to coordinate the recall.

“Although there have been no reported illnesses, [we’re] initiating the voluntary recall in Ontario out of an abundance of caution and care for our consumers,” it noted.

PepsiCo added no impacted product was shipped to other US provinces and no other Ruffles or products operating in Canada were included in this recall.
