Van’s Foods is recalling approximately 1,584 cases of Van’s Gluten Free Waffles for containing gluten and undeclared milk.

The recalled products - labeled with lot code #A640234710–WL2 and UPC code 8994730206 - were distributed to retailers in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.

Van’s Foods noted a limited number of the wrong packaging were used during the production of Van’s Belgian Waffles.

“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk or gluten run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” it said.

However, according to the FDA, there have been no reported illness or adverse reactions associated with the effected waffles to-date.

Van's Foods confirmed that none of its other branded products were affected by this voluntary recall.

The Tyson Foods subsidiary manufactures a wide range of snacks and baked goods, including Van’s pancakes, French toast sticks, as well as gluten-free snack bars and crackers.
