Imagenet, the graphics services division of Coveris, has acquired Rivendell Europe for an undisclosed sum.

Rivendell based in Leeds, UK, provides photographic, digital and catalogue creation services, employing 137 staff.

The timing of the announcement coincides with the launch of Imagenet’s website and UK rebrand.

The two companies will continue to trade under their own names, but branding will align with Rivendell to emphasise complementary and supporting services.

Nigel Winteringham, graphics services director, Imagenet, said Rivendell’s digital content creation incorporates web pages, email campaigns and imagery from website design to development.

With a range of high profile clients, the acquisition of Rivendell supports our shared plans to meet increasing demand across all media, as well as offering more services to new clients,” he said.

He added the acquisition supports Imagenet’s plans for growth with a vision to become the global supplier of choice for brands and retailers requiring multi-channel content and graphic technology.
