Balance Foods has developed vending size snacks under its Poptillas brand.

The one ounce bags come in two flavors – nacho cheese and chili lime – and will be rolled out across LA this month.

The whole grain corn tortilla product has been Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) approved, enabling the snacks to be sold in student stores and cafeterias.

“Balance Food snacks goal is always to create genuinely tasty snacks that students will love to eat and parents can rest assured knowing that it meets nutritional standards,” it said.
