Canadian investment firm acquires premium bakery English Bay Batter
Kilmer Van Nostrand has acquired dough and premium cookie specialist English Bay Batter and plans to drive the business deeper into North America.
English Bay was founded in 1983 and operates out of five facilities across Canada and North America.
“Over the course of the past 30 years, English Bay has created an outstanding portfolio of high quality bakery products ranging from cookies, to cookie dough, to crescent rolls and biscuits to pizza dough, pie crusts and muffins,” said Anthony Sigel from Kilmer Van Nostrand.
He said the investment firm was committed to driving English Bay into “a much larger North American bakery business”.
