Pro Mach has completed acquisition of Zalkin, a company specializing in capping machinery.

Pro Mach, based in Cincinnati, reportedly purchased the company in order to expand its reach and offerings for food and beverage clients. Zalkin will continue to operate out of its facilities in France.

The two companies have partnered for more than 40 years. Pro Mach held a minority stake in the French company before snapping up the remaining shares this year.

Pro Mach and Zalkin have an impressive history of customer satisfaction and business success together,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach president and CEO. “We look forward to working together to accelerate growth and strengthen our position as a global leader in packaging solutions.”

Pro Mach is a packaging equipment and integrated system provider, with more than 20 brands worldwide. Its offerings include primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, processing, material handling and track-and-trace technology.

Zalkin produces a variety of capping machinery products. Its arsenal includes screw, push-on, and roll-on pilfer-proof (ROPP) capping machines; it also produces cap sorters, elevators, decappers and custom units.
