Natural fruit snack specialist Bare says its two new flavor combinations are ‘unexpected’ and should draw consumers in.

The snack firm has added Chile Lime and Sea Salt Caramel flavors to its baked apple chip line that already includes Granny Smith, Cinnamon and Fuji Red.

“Our new Chile Lime and Sea Salt Caramel apple chips stimulate the taste buds with unique and unexpected flavour combinations that typically draw families and kids to calorie laden snacks and desserts,” said Brad Oberwager, CEO of Bare.

He said the new flavors should tempt consumers and satisfy any sweet or savory cravings they may have.

The Barefruit line is made using real fruit that is baked not fried – a process that caramelizes the natural sugars of the apple on the outside of every chip, creating crunch without adding sugar or preservatives, Bare said.

The new products are gluten-free, fat free, vegan and kosher certified as is the rest of the line.
