Campbell Soup seals Kelsen snack buy
Campbell Soup has completed its acquisition of Danish baked snacks player Kelsen Group.
The US food major will run Kelsen as a standalone business and keep senior staff members, including Kelsen Group CEO Brian Rønsholdt.
Campbell said it will use the buy as a way to strengthen its baked snack businesses in emerging markets, particularly in China and Hong Kong where growth of sweet biscuits is outpacing global growth and Kelsen is strong.
The acquisition was announced back in June.
