Integrated Packaging Group (IPG) has completed the acquisition of three sites from Amcor Flexibles Packaging.

The Australian sites, in Cheltenham, Chester Hill and Kirrawee, produce plain and printed polyethylene products including printed industrial bags, shrink film and PVC food films.

Integrated Packaging said the acquisition reinforces their growth strategy in Industrial and Agricultural packaging as well as expanding into printing, converting and PVC Food films.

The firm said it will enable further development of more innovative, cost effective and environmentally beneficial solutions for customers in Australia, New Zealand, and global markets such as Asia and North America.

Amcor said the divestment of the factories for A$22m was due to the acquisition of Aperio and the focus on non-core industrial and agricultural markets.
