EuPR rebrands to emphasise plastic recycling targets
The trade body said plastics recycling will continue to grow, at its Annual Meeting, in Brussels last week but pushing for higher targets will improve efficiency.
EuPR unveiled its corporate identity to emphasize the transformations that the recycling industry is undergoing, including development, improvement and growth to serve industry on its way to sustainability.
The panel of conferences focussed on boosting plastics recycling and improvement of current waste management systems.
Plastic Recyclers Europe main objective is to increase recycling targets and introduce an eco-design for plastics products to make recycling more efficient and accessible.
The group are also emphasizing the need to stop landfilling of waste which could be destined for reuse and recycling.
