Adept appoints first general manager of new unit
The firm’s Packaging Solutions Business Unit is tasked with delivering standard, pre-engineered cells that perform specific packaging tasks.
“By developing standardized, fully-integrated solutions that can be dropped into any packaging line, Adept’s Packaging Solutions Business Unit is providing new value to its customers,” said John Boutsikaris, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Rawas brings 18 years of leadership experience with international, technology companies to his position at Adept. Most recently, he was a Senior Consultant with Space Exploration Technologies. Previously, he was Vice President & Business Manager at SL RASCH GmbH and prior to that, Director – Automation Business Unit, Americas at Convenience Food Systems.
“The group’s focus is on reducing integration complexity and deployment time while providing the flexibility, gentle handling and speed of a world-class robotic solution,” said Rawas.
