UK equipment firm Reach Food Systems is looking for a global distribution partner as it moves to develop affordable ultrasonic machines.

In this podcast from IBA 2012 in Munich, Roger Staniforth, technical director at Reach Food Systems, discusses the kind of partner his company is looking for and talks about his work on making ultrasonic machinery available to smaller businesses.

Staniforth has developed ultrasonic technology in combination with a robotic arm that he claims gives greater versatility than a mechanical system.

He also discusses an enrober that his firm was exhibiting at this year’s show that is heated with thermal oil instead of water, which he claims provides a gentler heating action.
